Abstract

The economic growth of an area is closely related to population growth. The increasing population growth has implications for the level of economic activity of the people. Economic activity in an area can spread or agglomerate at certain points. Its growth can also be organic as is the case in the Trading Area in Muntilan District. This area extends along the primary arterial road or Ribbon Development along Jogja-Magelang Streets which connects Magelang City, Magelang Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta. Trading areas are in the form of traditional markets, modern markets, shops, markets, squares, minimarkets, and others. Around this area, it is also equipped with various basic infrastructure and supporting facilities to meet the daily needs of society such as religious facilities, educational facilities, government facilities and public services, open space facilities, and important transportation objects. This is why it is interesting to examine the relationship between land use and the price of land offered in this trading area in Muntilan District. The method used in this study uses quantitative approaches with data obtained through observation, secondary surveys, and interviews through questionnaires. The analysis used is descriptive method and applies a superimpose process in the Geospatial Information System or Overlay. The results showed that the type of land use and the distance to the trading area determine variations in land prices.

Abstract

Shopping center, as one of the land uses in trade and service activities, has a high intensity of travel demand to attract movement and cause travel attraction. Duta Pertiwi Mall is a shopping center that located in the center of Semarang City and has the potential to attract high numbers of visitors. This study aims to understand the relationship between travel attraction and the characteristics of trade and service areas through analysis of movement patterns at Duta Pertiwi Mall as a shopping center in the city center. The research method used is the analysis of movement patterns. The data that will be used in this research is the distribution of visitors from Duta Pertiwi Mall. The output produced in this study is Duta Pertiwi Mall has a regional service scale with visitors from out of town up to 14% and local visitors 86%.

Abstract

Side barriers have an effect on road performance in the Main Highway Corridor Tengah Weleri based on calculations using multiple linear regression analysis tools. It was found that busy hours occurred on Monday afternoon at 12.00-13.00 in office breaks and school children with a traffic volume of 2,152 pcu / hour, although the value of the net capacity is still relatively large, namely 6,148 pcu / hour so that the road performance in the corridor of Central Main Highway Weleri has a value of 0.35 which is classified as B with the current condition which is still stable but the speed is limited. This speed limitation is in fact influenced by the presence of pedestrians by 2% and vehicles that stop / park by 1% so that it disrupts traffic flow. This was found based on the results of the multiple linear regression equation obtained, namely Y = 0.117 - 0.002 X1 + 0.001 X2 + X3 - 0.004 X4. So it can be concluded that the level of road service in the corridor of Jalan Raya Utama Tengah Weleri can be increased to A with a road performance value of 0.117 if the side barriers are zero or none, because it is found that road performance in the corridor of Jalan Raya Utama Tengah Weleri is influenced by side friction of 93.6% simultaneously

Abstract

The dominant visitor satisfaction factor is influenced by tourism supply factors (attractions, accessibility, amenities, and ancilliery services) provided by the tour manager. The development and sustainability of tourism activities will have an impact on people's income can be seen from the value of visitor loyalty. Tourism that utilizes local resources will have an impact on the local economy of the region. Posong Tourism as a tour that utilizes local resources, namely the mountain view initiated by the community. The supply factor at Posong Tourism was also initiated and provided by the local community. The purpose of this study was to assess the effect of visitor satisfaction from supply factors on tourist visitor loyalty in the Posong Tourism object, Temanggung Regency. The research method used is a quantitative research method using Structural Equation Modeling Analysis (SEM). The results showed a significant direct effect between the supply of Posong Tourism supply factors to the value of visitor satisfaction, and there was also the influence of visitor satisfaction on the value of loyalty. In addition, the results of the analysis of theoretical models there are 9 indicators that have an indirect influence.

Abstract

North Pekalongan district is a coastal area of Pekalongan City which has 7 sub-districts with a high tidal hazard level. Adaptation capacity is a key point in dealing with conditions of vulnerability to climate change, especially tidal floods. The projected threat of tidal flooding which will increase every year has an impact on the survival of the people of the North Pekalongan sub-district. adaptation capacity needs to be increased in order to adapt to exposure to the threat of tidal flooding. The purpose of this study was to assess the level of adaptation capacity of the North Pekalongan sub-district to the threat of tidal hazards. This study uses a quantitative method through the Adaptive Capacity Index (ACI) assessment with the analysis technique of scoring analysis, weighting, and spatial analysis. Assessment of the level of adaptation capacity is seen from the conditions before and after the construction of the embankment. Adaptation capacity, which is a study in this research, is measured through sanitation conditions, access to clean water sources, the existence of educational facilities, the existence of health facilities, the presence of disaster infrastructure, the characteristics of houses, and the level of education. In this study, it was found that there was a change in the level of adaptation capacity caused by the construction of a sea wall in the North Pekalongan District. These changes are aimed at increasing the level of adaptation capacity in Bandengan and Kandang Panjang villages. The conclusion that can be drawn is that the construction of rob handling infrastructure is one of the efforts to increase the adaptation of the government in handling rob disasters.

Abstract

The Old Town Semarang is one of the historical areas that was developed as a tourism desnitation. The Old Town Semarang has several problems such as rob, buildings conditions, and lack of tourist facilities. These problems then underlies Semarang City government to do revitalization. The are several implications of revitalization such as  changes in spatial use, changes in activities, influx of migrants. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of revitalization on the socio-economic conditions of the community. This study was conducted with interviews and questionnaires to identify the revitalization process, the socio-economic conditions of the community, and the effect of revitalization on the socio-economic conditions of the community. The intended community is the people who live and those who have businesses. The analysis were processed using multiple linear regression analysis techniques with the revitalization process as dependent variable and  independent variable are level of security, the level of crime, and social interaction relationships to analyze social conditions. Also independent variables of livelihoods, income levels, job locations and land rent to analyze economic conditions. The analysis show that the revitalization has a positive effect on social conditions and negatively affect the economic conditions.

Abstract

Home-based enterprise (HBE) is a micro, small to medium scale enterprise located at home. HBE is easily built but also very vulnerable. Milkfish processing HBE in Krobokan can sustain for years. This study aims to determine the sustainability strategy of milkfish processing HBE in Krobokan Thematics Kampong based on sustainable livelihood approach theory. The method used is case study with qualitative descriptive analysis to analyze data from interview, observation, questionnaire and literature study data. A total of 11 HBE's are studied in regard to their livelihood capital, level of sustainability and strategies that they used. The study found that HBE operators are using strategy related to livelihood capitals which are human capital, natural capital, physical capital, social capital and financial capital. HBE sustainability strategies are intensification, extensification and diversification.

Abstract

Kedungmundu Raya and Sambiroto Raya goes to BWK VI, those corridors had an appeal for commercial actors in small-medium scale to invest/commercial activities. This research aims to determine and analyzed the factors affecting the development of commercial activities in Kedungmundu Raya and Sambiroto Raya streets in relations with territorial against new growth area of Kedungmundu-Sambiroto. This is a descriptive quantitative research. The road identifications showed that Segment 1 had quite rapid development indicated by land use change from non awakened into commercialized. Segment 2, had a significant changes, land use change from non awakened and occupancy into commercialized. Segment 3, had less significant changes, the changes are only functional from occupancy into commercialized. Segment 4 is the most significant development indicated by 3 supermarkets. While in the factor analysis, factors that affecting the development of commercial activity are Factor 1, accesibility, consist of majority of consumer, form of profit, main reasons and peak traffic. Factor 2, area suitability, consists of main reason and length of business. The most dominant factors is the area suitability.
